The Los Angeles Clippers have loaded up their bench this offseason which is great for their championship hopes but it is not great for Glen Davis. Davis is still currently a free agent and although he wants to come back to the Clippers next year their roster is loaded and they reportedly aren't set on offering him a deal, according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

The Clippers reportedly have interest in bringing back Davis but have yet to offer him a contract. Doc Rivers, Clippers head coach and president of basketball operations had a meeting with Davis' agent earlier this week but no deal was reached. If Davis were to reach a deal with the Clippers it would likely be a one year deal for the veteran's minimum.

Aside from the Clippers Davis has also had reported interest from the Dallas Mavericks but a deal there seems unlikely. The Mavericks have the maximum amount of players (20) signed for training camp and a plethora of big men so the call they made to Davis likely won't bear any fruit. Other options for Davis aside from those two NBA teams are accepting deals in either Europe or China which is looking like a real possibility at this point.

The Clippers currently have 14 players on their roster so there is room for Davis but if he were to sign he would likely see little to no playing time unless there was an injury. Blake Griffin and Josh Smith are the top two power forwards on the depth chart and are highly unlikely to have their spots usurped by Davis.

Last season with the Clippers, the 29 year old Davis played in 74 games averaging 4.0 points and 2.3 assists in 12.2 minutes per game.
