Police revealed that a 17-year-old boy was killed and a 20-year-old man was wounded during a shooting late Friday in the Chicago neighborhood of West Englewood, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The teen, identified as Torri Williams, and the man were standing in a corner of 64th and South Justine streets when a man, who drove a white Cadillac, walked to the corner and opened fire, hitting the teen in the chest and the man in the arm.

The teen was pronounced dead once he was taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County while the man was in stable condition at Holy Cross Hospital, police said, according to the Chicago Tribune.

This particular incident is one of three that took place over the weekend, as a 32-year-old man was shot to death during an attempted robbery in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side on late Sunday evening.

A total of 45 people have been shot across the city since Friday beginning at 9:30 p.m., according to My FOX Chicago.
