Following the death of Cory Monteith fans were left wondering how "Glee" producers and executives would handle the new season. Little by little, details surrounding Season five have been released - the tribute special will be the third episode, Adam Lambert is definitely joining the cast and Rachel Berry could have a new love interest in the future.

According to Hollywood Life, a source revealed that Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry on the Fox show, does not want her character to rush into another relationship so soon after Monteith's death.

The 31-year-old actor played Finn Hudson and was Michele's on-screen and off-screen boyfriend. Following the untimely death, Michele has donned a brave face and returned to the set of "Glee" to film the new season.

"It is true that Lea doesn't want to move fast into another relationship so quickly from the loss of Finn," the source said. "The show is going to take things naturally and make things as real as possible and have her deal with the loss and issues that come from it."

Just because there won't be any new romances for Berry anytime soon doesn't mean she won't find a romantic interest in the future. The source said that producers are cautious and would only want to approach the subject with complete respect.

"Will there be love in the future? Most likely, but they are going to tread lightly and be respectful with the process as much as possible," the source said. "Rachel, for the remainder of the show, is going to be a version of Lea that she wants to show her fans. Cory and Finn will not be forgotten and that will be shown throughout the rest of the series."

In other "Glee" news it was recently announced that Demi Lovato would be joining the cast as the love interest of Naya Rivera's character Santana.

"I don't want people to take from this, 'Oh my God, Demi is kissing a girl.' I want people to take from it [that] this is actually an incredible step in our generation today where I'm able to play a young lesbian on primetime TV," Lovato told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. "I'm honored to be able to...hopefully inspire people with my character to be who they are and not be afraid of it or ashamed."

There has also been rumors that Lovato's character Dani could team up with another "Glee" newbie Adam Lambert for a duet.

The new season of "Glee" is set to return Sept. 26 on Fox.
