Serena Williams meets Carla Suarez Navarro on Tuesday in the 2013 US Open quarterfinals.  The match is slated for 7 p.m. ET.  Watch the live stream HERE and HERE.

Williams inched closer in the quest for her fifth US Open title, defeating Sloane Stephens on Sunday.  Williams, 64-4 on the season with eight titles, hasn't dropped one set during the tournament and remains the heavy favorite to nab her second Grand Slam title of the year.

Despite being on the verge of her 17th career Slam, Williams is of the mind that everything else she achieves in her career is extra.

"That's the beauty of my career," Williams said last week, via Yahoo! Sports.  "I don't need to do anything at all.  Everything I do from this day forward is bonus.  Everything for me is just extra."

While everything is now padding to her storied career, Williams remains as competitive as ever.  Despite losing to Stephens at this year's Australian Open, Williams admitted she wasn't out to prove anything against the younger American - Williams just wants to win.

"You know, when I'm playing, I don't go out there thinking like that," Williams said after defeating Stephens, via ESPN.  "I'm literally going out there to play.  I'm not thinking about being a star.  I just want to play tennis and I want to do really good at it."

Suarez Navarro is 35-22 on the season and without any titles.  The 25-year-old Spaniard, ranked No. 20 in the World, ties her career-best at the US Open by reaching the quarterfinals.

She defeated Coco Vandeweghe in the opening round (6-3, 6-4), then Jie Zheng (6-2, 6-4) and Angelique Kerber (6-4, 3-6, 7-6) on Sunday.

Tuesday is the third meeting between Williams and Suarez Navarro, who lost both matches to the American - most recently in 2013 at Rome.
