Amy Schumer, comedienne and "Trainwreck" star, received some backlash from Disney and Lucasfilms over her sexy "Star Wars"-themed photo shoot for the cover of GQ, Us Weekly reported. The owners of the movie franchise didn't think Schumer's suggestive photos were very funny.

"Lucasfilm & Disney didn't approve, participate in, or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner," the official "Star Wars" Twitter account replied, addressing fans who complained on the social media site.

The cover photo of GQ's annual Comedy Issue by photographer Mark Seliger features the 34-year-old funny girl dressed as Princess Leia in "Return Of The Jedi" with her hair in braids and wearing a bikini top while she sucks on C-3PO's finger, as previously reported by HNGN.

Inside the magazine, photos show Schumer with a lightsaber in her mouth, and she poses topless in bed in another photo, with a cigarette in her mouth next to C-3PO and R2-D2, according to Us Weekly.

But Schumer gained support from the sci-fi franchise's lead star, Entertainment Weekly reported. Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the original "Star Wars" trilogy, used Twitter to publicly approve of the actress' sexy take on the space opera.

"Got excited when I saw @amyschumer @GQMagazine [sic] pics & thought she was just cast in [sic] Ep 8! We should be so lucky," Hamill tweeted.
