Police have cancelled an Amber Alert that was issued for 14-year-old Hayleigh Wilson who was last seen with 41-year-old sex offender Benjamin Shook after both were found in Virginia.

U.S. Marshals found Wilson and Shook in Smythe County, Va., and took them to the local sheriff's office, The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) said on Tuesday, the Canada Journal reported.

The agency said the teen left her home in Surgoinsville on June 22 and was spotted the next day at a Wal-Mart in Marion, N.C., with Shook. Later, witnesses reported seeing both of them on June 24 near a campground in Sugar Grove, Va, according to Northwest GA News.

While Hayleigh appears to be safe and unharmed, she underwent a physical evaluation as a precautionary measure, ABC's Nashville affiliate WKRN-TV reports.

Last week, the U.S. Marshalls announced that they would be offering a $5,000 reward to any information leading to the whereabouts of Hayleigh. Currently, details regarding her discovery are limited.

Shook has an active warrant out of Georgia for failing to register as a sex offender.
