Jonathan Isaac, a 2016 five-star recruit, announced on Monday afternoon that he will continue his basketball career at Florida State under the tutelage of Leonard Hamilton. Isaac is a 6 foot 9 inch tall small forward from Naples, Fla. and plays for IMG Academy. He chose Florida State over Kentucky, and numerous other schools.

Isaac is the fourth best small forward and the 12th best prospect overall in the class of 2016, according to ESPN. Scouts rave about Isaac's raw ability and his seemingly limitless potential. He can shoot the three and also drive to the rim with tremendous athleticism. The knock on Isaac is his lack of strength and inability to finish through contact, but that is something that could be remedied by weight lifting and putting on a few pounds.

The addition of Isaac moves the Seminoles' 2016 recruiting class to number two in the nation behind only Virginia, according to 247Sports. This comes on the heels of the number nine overall recruiting class for 2015 led by five-star guard Dwayne Bacon.

Florida State is currently in the midst of trying to become one of ACC's elite basketball schools. The Seminoles have failed to finish above .500 in ACC play in the past three seasons.

It is still extremely early in the process of recruiting players from the class of 2016, but as of right now Florida State has back-to-back top ten classes and it seems as though they will be back toward the top of the ACC very soon.
