It seems a whole slew of new characters are coming to the “The Following” for Season 2 as they’ve yet again added another person to the cast.

“90210” star Jessica Stroup will join the show next season, according to Entertainment Weekly. Stroup will play Ryan Hardy’s (Kevin Bacon) niece Max who is an NYPD cop. She is a member of the Intel Division and will be a huge help to Ryan next season.

Stroup is most known for her roles as Erin Silver on the CW’s “90210.”

Also joining the long line of new cast members is Tiffany Boone. She will play Mandy, an involuntary follower of Joe Carroll (James Purefoy).

Boone is most recently known for playing Savannah Snow in “Beautiful Creatures.”

Here are the other cast members recently added to “The Following”:

“NYPD Blue” actor James McDaniel will step into the role of Agent Ken Phillips, according to TVGuide.com, a likely replacement for the recently deceased Deb Parker (Annie Parrise).

Sam Underwood of “Dexter” will play a potential follower of Carroll named Luke, reports TVLIne.com.

Connie Nielsen—Lucilla on “Gladiator” and Meredith Kane on the Starz series “Boss”—is a Soho art dealer named Lily Gray in season 2. She is a possible love interest for Hardy.

Valerie Cruz—Major Joy Mendez on “Homeland”—will play NYPD detective Gina Mendez, according to EOnline.com. Cruz’s character will help Mike Weston (Shawn Ashmore) investigate a string of homicides in New York City.

The website also reports the premiere begins one year after the final events of Season 1. This means will get to see how all the main characters—Ryan, Mike, Emma (Valorie Curry), Claire (Natalie Zea), and Carroll—have progressed since those events took place.

“The Following” is expected to premiere this fall on FOX.
