A Mastiff puppy named Sampson didn't know how to swim and was taught by the pet owner, encouraging him not to be scared of the water.

Sampson was a 120-pound baby when it first came to the water in 2012. Apparently, he was afraid to swim and would cling to his Dad, Stephen, who helped him swim. The dog was only 8 months old during that time and was already a giant baby dog, according to Little Things.

After his first dip into the pool, Stephen brought Sampson to the water again a few days later so he could swim by himself. The dog improved and felt more comfortable after days of practice.

Stephen uploaded a video of the swimming lessons and posted an update after a year, showing how Sampson became a good swimmer.

Before Stephen taught him, Sampson would never go near the pool, but now he would jump into the pool with ease and splashes around. He realized that the water wasn't that bad after all! Thanks for an amazing Dad and an encouraging Mom who would cheer on him while taking a video.
