Actor and Hollywood heartthrob Channing Tatum, during his Howard Stern radio show debut Tuesday morning, confessed that he hated doing the film "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," reported ABC News.

Stern questioned the 35-year-old about his lead role of Duke in the 2009 box office hit, which Stern assumed was the breakout moment in Tatum's career. But the hunk laughed, before finally coming clean.

"Look, I'll be honest," Tatum told Stern. "I f---ing hate that movie."

Tatum said he was pressured into doing the film because of a three-contract movie deal he signed with Paramount Pictures after his role in the Samuel L. Jackson film "Coach Carter." He originally wanted to play the role of Snake Eyes (because he loved the character as a kid), but was offered the lead role instead.

"Yeah, I just... the script wasn't any good," said Tatum. "And I was like, I don't want to do something that I thought was one, bad, and two, I just didn't know if I wanted to be G.I. Joe."

Tatum is currently doing press for his upcoming film "Magic Mike XXL," due in theaters July 1.
