It is hard to steal the spotlight away from Kim Kardashian and Kayne West, but that is exactly what Jaden Smith did at the couple's 2014 Italian wedding. The son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith wore a Batman costume to the nuptials and he is finally explaining his odd choice of attire.

Smith explains in an Interview with GQ that he was just expressing his personal style and wanted to "heighten his experience." The actor says he likes wearing superhero costumes, saying it was "fun, but also at the wedding I felt as though I needed to protect everyone there and needed to have the proper gear to do so." What a gentleman.

Smith will appear in the latest issue of GQ, which concentrates on the most stylish men in the world. Kayne West is on the cover of the style issue and is one of Smith's fashion icons.  "My style icons are Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Superman, and Kanye West," he told MTV.
