The already talent-rich Green Bay Packers offense looks to be getting even richer this offseason - at least according to quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

A week after Rodgers singled out big-bodied wide receiver Davanate Adams as a player likely to break out in 2015 and center ;lkjasdf as a guy whose made major strides this offseason, Rodgers pointed to another offensive weapon he believes is set for a big step forward next year.

"I'd say the two guys who've jumped out to me just in the workouts, and one of them is not a young guy - I mean, he's still younger than I am - but Andrew Quarless has had a great offseason," Rodgers told ESPNWisconsin. "I think he's really, something clicked in for him at the end of last year and he's been taking the jump. And Davante's the other one. I think he's had a great offseason and he has star potential - for sure. The young guys, you try to temper your expectations, but there is an excitement about the young receivers."

Quarless, 26, has posted four good, but far from great, seasons since the Packers drafted him in the fifth-round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Last year, Quarless nabbed just 29 receptions for 323 yards and three touchdowns in 16 regular season games. He added four receptions for 31 yards and one touchdown in two playoff contests.

At 6-foot-4, 252-pounds, Quarless provides fantastic size-speed matchup problems for the defense, but has yet to take full advantage of his prodigious athleticism. While the plethora of offensive weaponry in Green Bay, including wide receivers Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and Adams and running back Eddie Lacy, mean there's likely to be limited touches to go around, Quarless has every chance of making a significant mark in his fifth NFL season.

Currently sitting atop a depth chart that consists of the mostly unproven Richard Rodgers - though Rodgers did well with limited chances last year - and Justin Perillo, Quarless certainly has an opportunity to take on the bulk of the load for a tight end group that no longer has a Jermichael Finley eating up the majority of the snaps.

Whether he can take advantage of the chance ahead of him next season remains to be seen, but it certainly has to be promising to Packers fans that Rodgers already seems to have the confidence that Quarless can get the job done.
