5 Seconds Of Summer guitarist Michael Clifford was rushed to a London hospital Saturday after his hair caught on fire while performing at the city's Wembley Arena.

The 19-year-old singer ran off the stage after a machine he was standing next to shot out fire that got caught in his hair, according to Us Weekly. The Australian band cut the show short following the incident.

Ashton Irwin, 5 Seconds of Summer's 20-year-old drummer, delivered the news of the show's abrupt cancellation, Billboard reported.

"Michael has hurt himself so we will not be continuing the show right now," Irwin revealed. "Just want to say thank you so much for coming. He is OK. You guys have been the best crowd we could ask for tonight. Thank you so much."

Fans captured the incident and put the footage on YouTube.

Hours after the tragic incident, a shaken Clifford took to Twitter and Instagram to update fans on his condition, posting a photo of is heavily bandaged face.

"What the f--ks up. sorry I couldn't finish the encore, but at least I look like two face. thanks for worrying every1 x," he captioned, while also writing on Twitter that fans should not take his picture "If I obviously don't want to have my picture taken right now."

Clifford assured fans on Sunday that he was okay, tweeting, "Feeling loads better and my face is fine :) excited for the show tonight."
