It's a girl! Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge delivered a baby girl at 8:34 a.m. local time. The baby weighs 8 lbs. 3 oz. and according to Kensington Palace, both mom and baby are doing fine.

Another couple just walked out of the Lindo Wing with their newborn baby boy. They stopped to have their photos taken, according to bystanders.

Still not a peep about the princess' name, although according to the Daily Mail, Charlotte has pulled ahead of Alice as the betting man's favorite.

Anyone with "HRH" in front of his or her name technically doesn't have a last name, but Prince George and his sister will reportedly use "Cambridge" when they attend school.

The easel was placed in front of Buckingham Palace. The easel is the usual method of royal birth announcement, but the duke and duchess opted for a more modern approach: Twitter. They also broke tradition by delivering in a hospital. Most royals are born in the palace or in the home of a family member.

The princess' name has not been revealed yet.
