Next James Bond Movie To Release In 2019, Franchise Producers Make Official Announcement
Fans of James Bond have some great news. The twenty-fifth film based on the acclaimed spy will be releasing in 2019 and it has been confirmed by none other than franchise producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson with the duo also declaring that other details about the film will be revealed later.
James Bond fans can finally heave a sigh of relief as the next film has gotten a release date. According to The Wrap, the twenty-fifth film will be releasing on Nov. 8, 2019, and an announcement to this effect has been made by franchise producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. They also made it clear that it will follow the earlier tradition of releasing a week ahead in Europe. However, other details like the cast, distributors, director, etc. would be revealed at a later date.
The only available detail regarding the team is that scriptwriters Robert Wade and Neal Purvis would be returning for the twenty-fifth James Bond movie. As fans may know, the two have earlier collaborated to pen the scripts of "Skyfall," "Casino Royale," "Quantum of Solace" and "Spectre." So, they are pretty well-aware of the Bond saga.
In the meantime, it is not yet clear if Daniel Craig would also be returning to play James Bond, Variety claimed. The actor was seen in the last James Bond movie "Spectre" which was a massive hit, grossing a total of $880.7 million in the global market. He also played the suave spy in "Casino Royale," "Quantum of Solace" and "Skyfall." Though many are hopeful that he would make a comeback, until an official announcement is made, nothing can be said with surety.
Nevertheless, there is enough time- more than two years, for the makers to decide the cast, director and distributors. As of now, it is being said that Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, Universal and Fox are vying to get the rights of the twenty-fifth James Bond movie. It is worth mentioning here that the last James Bond film "Spectre" released in 2015 and the next film is coming after a gap of four years.
