Huawei, the Chinese tech giant is heading at a rapid pace in the technology market. The company's top official announced the details of the shipments made in the year 2016. It was also revealed that the company sold more that 12 million units of Huawei P9 and P9 Plus smartphones globally which are said to be the company's new milestone for this year's Huawei P10 series.

According to Playfuldroid, Yu ChengDong, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group during the launch event of the Huawei P10 series in China revealed the details of the company's successful previous year. Yu ChengDong stated that the company  has shipped a total of 139 million smartphones in the previous year, which is accounted to be a 29% increase in Smartphone shipments. He also added that the company is expecting a Huawei P10 and P10 Plus to go far beyond the 12 million milestone set by the previous model.

Huawei P10

Huawei P10 sports a 5.10-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 X 2560 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storages. The phone has microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB.

Huawei P10 features dual camera set-up at the rear having 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel lens. The front face of the phone features an 8-megapixel camera. The phone is powered by a 3,200mAh non-removable battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Huawei P10 Plus

Huawei P10 Plus sports a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor coupled with either 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone also has an option to expand storage up to 256GB via a microSD card.
