T-Mobile Releases Android 7.0 Nougat Update for HTC One M8 Users

T-Mobile, one of the major carriers in the United States releases Android 7.0 Nougat update to its HTC One M8 Smartphone. Google, who released the Android Nougat in August last year has already popped in the most of the higher level smartphones in the tech market either unlocked or the carrier based. This amazing Smartphone was launched back in 2014

According to the T-Mobile announcement, the users of the HTC One M8 Smartphone will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update anytime. The official website of the company is seen with the announcement stating that the Android 7.0 Nougat software for HTC One M8 has been approved to launch and is now available.

The HTC One M8 was launched with Android KitKat OS on board and was later upgraded to Android Marshmallow. The unlocked versions of HTC One M8 Smartphone are not yet confirmed by the Taiwanese company about the Android 7.0 Nougat update. Earlier, there were reports indicating that the company has ruled out the possibility of releasing Nougat update to HTC One M8.

T-Mobile HTC One M8 users shall wait for the Android 7.0 Nougat update notification on the device, as it may take time for the update notification to pop up on the phone's screen. Also, the users can check for the update by heading to your handset's Settings menu.

The Smartphone sports a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor paired together with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The phone has an option of expansion of its storage up to 128GB via a microSD card.

HTC One M8 features a 4-Ultrapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front selfie shooter. A 2600mAh non-removable battery powers the phone and the overall measurement of the phone is 146.36 x 70.60 x 9.35 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 160.00 grams.

HTC One M8 offers a single SIM (GSM) Smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM. The connectivity options included in the phone are Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, NFC, Infrared, 3G, and 4G. The sensors that are included in the phone are compass magnetometer, proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and barometer. Stay tuned for more updates.
