When we make mistakes, it is our policy to correct our errors, large and small, as soon as we become aware of them — in text, picture captions and videos. Generative AI Policy

Currently, HNGN does not use or employ generative AI tools of any kind in the writing, research, editing, or any other integral aspects of the publishing process. Likewise, HNGN will refrain from publishing AI-generated images, whether they be video or still pictures, that closely resemble real-life, unless an AI-generated image is itself the focus of a news story on its use or creation.

Before taking the helm of HNGN, Neil was the News Director at The Messenger. He is a veteran news editor, who served for four years as Managing Editor of Politics at the New York Post, covering New York City and state politics as well as national politics, including two presidential elections, two impeachments, and an ousted governor of New York. Will got his start in media chasing news in New York City with a camera and a press badge, working his way up the local news desk at NY1 News. After five years covering the Big Apple, Will transitioned to the digital news space, taking on news and U.S. politics at Newsweek as the Deputy National News Editor, where he covered the 2022 US Midterm Elections and the Russia-Ukraine War.
