Britney Spears called reports that she was involved in a fight with her boyfriend at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles "fake news." The singer said an ambulance showed up at the swanky hotel because she "twisted" her ankle.

Pop star Britney Spears called accounts that she got into a fight with her boyfriend at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles "fake news" — and insisted that she was escorted out of the luxury hotel by paramedics because she "twisted" her ankle.

Spears, 42, was seen in photos leaving the hotel barefoot and holding a pillow early Thursday morning with beau Paul Richard Soliz.

A fire department spokesperson told the New York Post that an ambulance was called to the hotel about 12:42 a.m. for an "adult female who had been injured."

The ambulance did not transport anyone, despite remaining on the scene for about 40 minutes, the report said.

The "Oops! I Did It Again" singer took to her Instagram account to reassure her fans.

"Just to let people know ... the news is fake!!!" she wrote.

"I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally," she said.

"They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed," she continued, adding: "I'm moving to Boston!!!"

She posted again a short while later, writing that she was "Embracing the fall."

"Fallen angel, that's SO FUNNY RIGHT?" she said.

The incident occurred the same day Spears and her estranged husband Sam Asghari finalized their divorce. The two had filed for divorce last August.

A source close to Ashagari told Us Weekly that he "feels terrible" that Spears "is not surrounded by positive people" in her life right now.

Spears ended her father's conservatorship of her affairs in 2021 after a court battle. She was placed under the involuntary conservatorship in 2008 under the supervision of her dad, James Spears, who expressed concerns about her mental health.
