Small Plane crashed on Long Island Beach

A pilot and passenger miraculously escaped injury after landing and tumbling down a Long Island, New York beach after an emergency landing, according to a report. 

A single engine Cessna 152 landed on Cedar beach Wednesday evening, shortly before sunset, according to ABC7. The plane was experiencing engine failure in the air and was forced to land. 

The plane can be seen in video landing on the beach close to the waterline, then tumbling onto it's nose shortly after landing. 

The 60-year-old male pilot and his passenger, a 59-year-old woman, were not injured, according to ABC7, adding that the FAA will investigate the crash.
