Mica Miller, seen in an undated photo, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head on April 27, 2024, in a state park in Robeson County, North Carolina.

Mica Miller's pastor husband claims he visited his wife in the morgue and even tried to "raise her from the dead" after her suicidein an eerie 20 minute eulogy.

John Paul Miller made the comment at Mica's memorial service at Solid Rock Ministries in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Miller said he had visited his wife's body about four times, and on one occasion he said "I thought she was going to wake up. I even tried to raise her from the dead one time this week."

He said he also had gone to the mall and saw a woman who looked like Mica and yelled out her name. "I thought I raised her from the dead," Miller said. The other woman was her sister.

Miller talked about their courtship and marriage during his 20-minute eulogy.

Mica Miller died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. She had previously served her husband with divorce papers and posted a cryptic video that alluded to abuse.

A lawyer for the pastor released a statement on Friday about any abuse claims.

"Our client refutes any report that suggests he ever abused his wife. Recent reports claim that Pastor Miller 'groomed' his wife from the age of 10 years old couldn't be farther from the truth."

The law firm reported that Mica Miller had moved to Myrtle Beach at 15 and married another man at 18 before divorcing him at 21.

"It has come to light that Mica Miller struggled with mental illness, specifically bipolar disorder, which, when not properly managed, led to paranoid episodes and self-destructive behavior."

Solid Rock at Market Common Church in Myrtle Beach said the Rev. John Paul Miller had been removed from "ministerial functions." He announced his wife's suicide during a sermon.

She had filed for divorce about six months ago, according to the New York Post.
