A Connecticut man was arrested by Vermont State Police for driving over 100 mph, stating he was late for traffic court. Seth Tichenor, from West Hartford, Conn. was agitated and impatient, as he was late for traffic court on a previous speeding ticket, according to the New York Daily News

Vermont Police had received a few 911 calls about a man driving erratically, weaving in and out of traffic and excessively speeding on I-89, The Huffington Post reported. When the police caught up with him, he was clocked at 112 mph.

The police were not sympathetic to the 33-year-old driver and arrested him on negligent operations and excessive speed charges, according to FOX News.  He is due in Vermont Superior Court in White River Junction  for this citation on Oct. 27. It was not mentioned if he is eligible for traffic court for this or the first speeding citation.

Trooper Rich Slusser that said the speed limit on the stretch of interstate he was traveling was 65 mph.
